acceptable stay with some issues
noisy fan kitchen noise
the room lacked proper soundproofing. i could clearly hear kitchen noise throughout the evening, disruptive. additionally, the bathroom fan was quite noisy and didn't seem very effective at clearing the air. these issues impacted my sleep and overall comfort.

Charming Stay!
friendly staff delicious breakfast warm welcome
The staff were super friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was delicious and set me up perfectly for the day. I found little touches like traditional sweets and biscuits left in the room upon arrival lovely. I really enjoyed the warm welcome I received.
The bedroom window overlooked the car park. It felt slightly overlooked.

My room included tea and coffee. biscuits and traditional sweets. A good sized bath and a shower were in the bathroom. The room was quiet and all clean.

I found the food freshly cooked and well presented. The food tasted beautiful. The portion sizes were good. I think the evening meal deserves a star!!! The breakfast selection had good variety.

The staff were helpful and attentive without being omnipresent. They went out of their way to welcome me and provide excellent service. Dani, in particular, was very helpful. Everyone was really friendly.

The hotel is located right in the middle of the village. This made it very convenient for accessing local attractions. I found the location easily accessible and central.

The hotel offers good value for money. I had access to local hand-pulled ales. A very good atmosphere pervades this hotel. I will return next year!

friendly staff excellent breakfast thick duvet central heating
The location was excellent. staff were friendly. I found a good selection of food and drinks. the breakfast was excellent.
The bedding was a very thick duvet, far too heavy. there was no central heating on. i asked for a thinner duvet, but i was given only a sheet. It was not the solution.

comfy bed effective blackout blind good decor thick duvet no central heating heavy bedding
I found a really comfy bed, better than mine. The blackout blind worked well so I slept soundly. I had dinner in the bar downstairs. The menu and decor were good.
The bedding felt designed for mid-winter with a very thick duvet. It was far too heavy. There was no central heating turned on. Even with the window open, it was too hot under the duvet.
