a good stay
thoughtful design classic music attentive staff
the design demonstrated considerable thought, it included chocolates, water, and toiletries. upon arrival, a radio played classic music creating a pleasant atmosphere. the restaurant buzzed with a great atmosphere and the staff were attentive. i found this stay a great experience.
during my stay, the full english breakfast fell short of expectations. the black pudding was thin. it resembled a crisp more than traditional black pudding.

Wonderful stay
comfortable bed superb breakfast helpful staff luxury toiletries
The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also superb. The staff were helpful (i really liked their energy). I appreciated the radio playing classic music upon my arrival. I also found chocolates, water, and toiletries.
The bar was a little dark in the morning.

The staff responded quickly to requests, and provided accurate information about local attractions. They seemed genuinely interested in. I also appreciated their attentiveness during breakfast, with prompt refills of coffee.

mixed feelings about MY stay
slow service high noise
I FOUND the service to be rather slow , despite the friendly staff. i had to wait an unreasonably long time for my drinks at the bar. the noise level in the restaurant also made it difficult to have a conversation, even with my dinner companion, FRUSTRATING.

small room undercooked eggs
i booked a really comfy twin room, but it seemed pretty small to me. the breakfast i had was also a total letdown. i asked for scrambled eggs, they came out watery and undercooked. the toast was hard as a rock, so i struggled to eat it. i probably wont come back.

the room was fine with all the facilities you would need. the decor was fabulous. the hotel was beautiful!!!
i was informed that steaks take longer to be served because of the resting time needed. my steak was over cooked. it was the tail end of the fillet, not what i expected.

i found the room nicely styled. the bed was comfortable. the large walk-in shower was also nice.
the wine prices were very expensive. the food service was a bit slow, i noticed.
