amazing stay everything was top notch
branded uniform private sitting area huge tv
the attention to detail really stood out i found robes all the teas a dental kit and even branded toilet roll which spoke volumes about the pride taken. sue is such a wonderful and sociable host she even wears a branded uniform for breakfast showing how much she cares. i took the top floor suite and i did not mind the stairs at all i just chilled on the sofa in my private sitting area watching the massive tv.
my only slight issue was the street parking it was limited it was also described as on-site parking this was not the case

the ullswater suite overlooked a quiet churchyard which was peaceful the room had extra facilities such as a coffee maker and robes this made my stay more comfortable and convenient.

the owner sue gave me great suggestions for dinner she was also very helpful with day trips her efficient service enhanced my stay. sue was very cute and helpful she had no issues with allergies.

breakfast was amazing and so delicious it really set me up for the day the cooked breakfast was cooked perfectly. i had a great choice of breakfast options and everything was prepared perfectly for me

the location is great close to the town centre which meant shops and eateries were easily accessible. it is just a short walk from shops and eateries the guest house is also a ten minute walk from the train station

small room inconsistent heating
The room felt quite small. Furniture seemed too large for the space provided. the location of the tea and coffee supplies on a shelf above the radiator felt impractical. I found the inconsistent heating annoying. No other heating was available during a cold spell.

the breakfast was acceptable and had some good options.
the room felt small, and there was hardly any space to move around. our window faced a brick wall, so i was a bit disappointed with the view. the inconsistent heating made the room cold, i did expect better.

The host provided excellent recommendations for local dining. I enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast (the eggs were perfect!).
The on-site parking was actually limited street parking. The heating was inconsistent. I found it to be a little cold.
