astounding viewgood breakfastfriendly host
the views from my Beautiful double room shower was astounding. breakfast was really good, with a fine selection of cereals AND cooked food. the hosts, very friendly, was really helpful. i appreciate THE proximity to local pubs, especially the shepherds county inn.
i find A slight bit of dust around the edges of THE bedroom.

i was not happy the room was so cold. the heating must have been turned off, and i woke up at 3am because of this. i left earlier than planned as a result..

charming farmhouse stay
comfortable roomlovely viewsteep stairs
my room was very nice and neat. i enjoyed the lovely views from the window. breakfast was yummy, especially the bacon and eggs, so tasty and cooked beautifully. the location is great, and the host was cute and knowledgeable, giving helpful recommendations for dinner and local attractions.
the stairs made carrying our bags up a bit challenging, although manageable.

Christine and martin welcomed us warmly. it was like coming home. The location is secluded and quiet. sheep surround the hotel. they thought of everything for our dogs. christine offered great advice about local excursions.
the room needed a bit of tlc. the blind didn't fully lower to darken the room.

Christine was a wonderful host. I felt welcomed. the breakfast each morning was freshly cooked. the location has beautiful views of the countryside. my room included biscuits and milk. Those were restocked daily.
i noticed a little dust in some areas of the room, but it wasn't too bad.

dust accumulationworn room
The room was a bit worn. Dust gathered in corners of both the bedroom and bathroom, I noticed. Hairs were present on the toilet seat. The place could definitely use a refresh, I thought.
