The location was good, with many things within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent with a varied choice. The room was spacious and it had a very comfy bed.
The room smelled a bit fusty and the decor seemed old. The bathroom was quite small, so space was limited. The shower lacked adequate water pressure.

fantastic hosts clean room large room super clean bathroom
joel and tracey were fantastic hosts. they were very cute and nothing was too much trouble for them. our room was large and it had all we needed. the bathroom was spotlessly clean as was the room.
i found a slight draft near the window.

The location is quiet and on a residential road. it is just a short walk up a gentle hill from the railway station. It is great if coming by train, actually.

breakfast was a highlight. the breakfast was very tasty and there were copious amounts of tea. yorkshire tea was our favourite and we drank a lot of toast with it.

the room was spacious and warm. it had a huge and comfy bed. i loved the sound of the adjacent church bell. it chimed on the hour every hour. lots to see within walking distance.

the hosts went to so much trouble to. we felt cherished from the minute we walked in. they are lovely people, professional, efficient and friendly. they couldn't do more to help us .

amazing stay friendly hosts great recommendation family visit
it was our honeymoon, we had no idea what to expect. joel and jayne really were amazing hosts. they were not intrusive and very friendly. i already told my family to come when they visit.
the bedroom had just a little dust in a corner, but nothing to really worry about.

The provided toiletries were limited , and I found their quality insufficient for a hotel of this category. The shower temperature fluctuated significantly , causing inconvenience. the noise from nearby rooms was noticeable at times , disrupting the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.
