good times at the old manor
friendly staff breakfast variety comfortable mattress clean room
the hotel location served my needs well. the staff were friendly. my room was clean. breakfast was tasty. staff was really helpful to me. i found a wide variety of choices at breakfast. the bed had a comfortable mattress topper. it was not the normal hard bed that i find in hotels.

charming stay, minor hiccups
friendly staff fresh breakfast mood lighting
the staff was friendly. the breakfast offered a nice variety of fresh, well-cooked items. the room had mood lighting, it really created a calm space.
i must admit, the bar prices were a bit steep, even for a hotel. i missed having complimentary bottled water in the suite.

mixed experience, some issues
outdated room small tv
breakfast was alright, nothing special but acceptable.
The room felt old and not well maintained, the tv was small and placed in a weird spot. the bathroom lacked basic toiletries. I had to ask for shower gel. furniture looked like its from decades ago, the room was not a place i would like to return to.

cold breakfast bad housekeeping
the room was well presented with a large, comfortable bed and a good overhead shower.
The breakfast buffet wasn't hot enough. It was nearly cold. i also noticed a couple of cobwebs in my room and dried splash marks on the skirting board (i think it was a dropped teabag). for the price per night, i expected better housekeeping.

attentive staff excellent selection cute atmosphere
I enjoyed the spacious, clean room i stayed in. the powerful shower was fantastic! breakfast offered an excellent selection and the staff was very attentive and friendly. They really went the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect, i thought. the hotel had a very cute atmosphere.
The gym was a bit small. It could use more equipment.

staff provided a warm welcome upon arrival, a very nice touch. they were helpful with requests and provided efficient service at all times. the breakfast service was well-organized and smoothly run.

the suite included a separate sitting area with a tv and an espresso machine. the shower was large and well kept, and provided plenty of hot water. i found the bed provided really good comfort and promoted restful sleep.

mixed feelings about my stay
broken lock sticky residue
the breakfast was good value for money it was an acceptable start to the day.
the bedroom door lock did not work i found that a bit concerning. the extractor fan in the bathroom also did not work i thought that was odd. there was a sticky residue on the bedside table so i avoided using it.
