the room was a signature double room. the room offered canal views. the bed was really comfy (i slept like a log). the location by the canal provided lovely walks.

dock character super clean quiet location
I really enjoyed how close the hotel was to glasson dock. Its character is something special. everything felt very clean. the location was very quiet, only ten minutes from lancaster center.

dinner included nice local produce. the room included a comfy bed with large tv. a great shower was inside the bath. i was shown my motorbike parking spot, covered by cctv.
breakfast was not the best as it was very dry. i missed having beans with it.

lovely view attentive staff canalside walk
the room was large and clean it offered lovely views. the evening meal tasted superb and arrived piping hot the staff were amazingly attentive. a canalside walk near glasson dock showcased a fantastic sunset.
the breakfast options seemed minimal i especially missed having beans available. the thin walls meant noise traveled easily from other rooms. the bed felt rather small considering the spaciousness of the room itself.

undercooked fries tasteless coleslaw
the fries i ordered with my lunch tasted clearly like aldi fries and they were undercooked. the coleslaw was also cheap and tasteless. my chicken club sandwich had cold , precooked chicken from a packet and was missing bacon. i was not impressed with the low quality of the food , especially considering the price i paid.

quiet location helpful staff excellent food
i found the location quite peaceful. staff provided helpful service. the room was super clean, which i appreciated. food was excellent, especially breakfast. the hotel had a beer garden. a canalside walk leads to glasson dock, nice.
i noticed a slight sewerage type smell outside for about 36 hours.

helpful staff comfortable bed thin walls dry breakfast
the staff were excellent, i appreciated how helpful and nice they were. the room was very clean and i was grateful for how comfortable the bed was.
the breakfast was very dry, i missed having beans with it. the walls were so thin, i could hear everything from bangs to people talking.
