broken showersmall dressing gowns
Shower didn't work proper. The overhead part was broke. The dressing gowns seemed really small. The full English breakfast disappointed me, overcooked bacon and undercooked egg. No brown bread was offered with only one thin toast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful .
I found the breakfast disappointing. My full English was not great, the bacon and sausage were overcooked. The egg was undercooked and of poor quality, and I only got one thin slice of cheap toast (I had to ask for butter).

the room was very comfortable and clean. the bathroom was a good size and included a walk-in shower. dining room service was friendly and efficient at both breakfast and dinner servings. the hotel room was great and had robes. there were also double sinks and a very comfy bed. all the usual additions were present plus a good selection of toiletries.

the location was ideal. it was a short walk from the train station. it was also very quiet despite proximity to the main road. trail runners have direct access to footpaths leading to ogmore.

A Mixed Experience

The shower was a letdown because the main overhead part didn't function. I also found the dressing gowns much too small for me. Breakfast left me wanting. The bacon and sausage tasted overcooked, the egg was undercooked. The toast was only a single, thin slice of cheap bread, and I wasn't offered refills for my drink.
