the location was CENTRAL. i could easily walk to many attractions. the staff were friendly and available. the rooftop area provided good views.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, they always had a smile on their faces.
I was disappointed that the room lacked proper soundproofing. Street noise was quite noticeable, particularly at night. i found some complimentary earplugs by the bed (obviously a common problem), but even with those, sleep was difficult. also, the bathroom sink was so small, it was hard to wash my face without splashing water everywhere.

the rooftop breakfast was really nice. the view from there included the placa and the university, i am thankful for that. the location was also very convenient. it was a short walk to las ramblas, i did appreciate this very much.
the minibar charge was not consumed. i think that is not proper for a good hotel. also, there was a unpleasant smell from the sewer. it was always there, i am a little bit unpleased with that.
