Mixed feelings about the stay.

The gardens looked nice.
The room was uncomfortably cold. I had to use both the duvet and extra blankets despite the heating being on. In the morning, there wasn't ANY hot water for a shower which was frustrating!

The gardens and sitting areas had AMAZING views. the staff were attentive. i appreciated the homely feeling. It was surrounded by history.

friendly welcomeattentive staffgreat view
i enjoyed the friendly welcome at reception and the attentive staff. the gardens and swimming pool located on the sixth floor offered comfy sitting areas. the surrounding views from these areas were great to see. the bar food was equally good with some menu items also available in the restaurant

the bar and restaurant have excellent options for both food and drinks and the breakfast was good. the restaurant offers a nice atmosphere and the bar food has good value.

the pool area has respected rules about reserving beds. the location is secluded, yet it is only 45 minutes from malaga airport. the hotel is very well maintained and sympathetically restored around the castle.
