The television was practically useless. It barely functioned at all. The equipment felt old and really needed some tlc to be cleaner. The barman was rude. I only went in for a drink and received a lecture about his opinions on foreign policy and my clothing.

A Good Breakfast and Location

convenient locationfriendly hostessexcellent breakfastold-fashioned bathroomnoisy bathroominconvenient taps
I really liked the location. It helped me visit Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges, and Carrick a Rede rope bridge easily. The bar was fun. It had friendly people sharing travel stories. Breakfast was awesome. The hostess was friendly too.
The bathroom was not modern. It seemed old-fashioned to me. I found the bathroom rather noisy, especially. The water taps pushed, which wasn't so convenient.

dated bathroombar noise
the bathroom fittings were quite dated it seemed like stepping back in time. the push-button taps in particular were inconvenient a constant press was needed for a simple hand wash. noise from the bar downstairs was also quite noticeable late into the evening it made it difficult to sleep before closing time

The breakfast had a good selection. I found it acceptable.
The bathroom was very noisy. I could hear everything through the walls and the push-button taps only dispensed water for a few seconds. It made washing difficult, and the small window provided little ventilation. The room was also stuffy.

Adequate but Underwhelming Stay

old televisionlimited breakfast
The television in my room barely functioned. The screen was old and could have been cleaner. I also found the breakfast options to be rather limited and not particularly appealing. The cooked breakfast did not meet my expectations, and I wished there were more fresh or healthy choices available.

The room had a TV and facilities for making tea or coffee. The bedroom was clean and a good size. I found the en suite bathroom nice. The location allows easy access to local sites.
The bar was quiet on a Saturday night.
