poor hygiene lack of apology
the room overlooking the gardens provided a quiet stay the views were nice
i encountered a major issue regarding ants i found them on the bed and around the room staff cleaned it initially but ants remained the manager suggested our food caused the problem this was incorrect i felt embarrassed by the implication no apology was offered initially but eventually another room was provided

Okay hotel, a couple of issues
spacious room varied breakfast closed gym pool jets
My room was a Beautiful Double Room Park View! I really liked the room. It was quite spacious. Breakfast was also really good, varied, and set me up for each day!
The gym shut on Sundays, and I was annoyed! there was no one around the 7th floor pool! I had to ring reception to get someone to reactivate the jets. After a short swim, it turned itself off again.

closed gym broken air conditioning
The gym was closed on sundays. That was not ideal. the air conditioning in the room was either broken or useless. i opened the window to get some fresh air. It was not a hot day.

garden view excellent location superb meal lacking character expensive breakfast closed pool
The room had a great view of the gardens, it was really quiet. The location proved excellent. The evening meal I had in the restaurant was superb (I particularly enjoyed the dessert).
The bar area lacked character. It felt more like an airport departure lounge. Breakfast was very expensive. It cost 28 euros. The rooftop pool was closed. An alternative was available, but it required going across the road and paying a daily fee.
