I found some drawbacks. The noise from the river traffic persisted even at night. This made sleeping difficult. I also felt the dinner prices were QUITE high for what was offered.

The location is ideal. Key historic sites are nearby. a short walk or ferry takes you to wat arun or the grand palace. breakfast by the water with wat arun temple was a special start to each day. ohm looked after us he was wonderful.
the overall standard was slightly below what i anticipated.

the staff were attentive and accommodating throughout my stay. breakfast by the river was good, a perfect start to each day. the pool area was a great spot for relaxation. i particularly enjoyed the beautifully landscaped grounds, which was like a peaceful escape.
the boat traffic on the river was noticeable, especially during the night

the location offered easy access to nearby attractions. some main sights were just a short walk away. canal tours were available in the next lane. it was a quiet oasis in the older part of the city.
