extensive grounds ample opportunity poor facilities outdated equipment
the grounds are extensive and provide ample opportunity for walking.
i found the gym facilities quite poor. it seemed quite laughable for a hotel of this supposed caliber, as the equipment was quite outdated.

absolute bliss!
amazing decor interesting history awesome breakfast superb staff
the decor was amazing, with interesting history throughout. the grounds had a lot to explore. i really loved the breakfast both days. the staff were superb and accommodating.
the gym was a bit laughable. the facilities seemed appalling overall.

the pool area includes a beautiful pool and art installations. there's also a spa. the extensive grounds allow for plenty to see and do without leaving the hotel.

the hotel is set within large gardens. outdoor public areas are magnificent. the setting is beautiful and peaceful.

small bedrooms open bottle
They said there werent any spaces for dinner when I arrived. I also was not sure they could fit me in for breakfast. That is not a five star welcome. The room I stayed in had large living area and very small bedrooms. There was only one bathroom. It was a maintenance disaster. I saw an open champagne bottle left in the fridge.
