Very nice Chateau Experience!
beautiful grounds generous portions excellent staff outdoor dining
This was my first time visiting and it was amazing. The grounds are beautifully kept and offer plenty to explore. The outdoor dining was a treat with delicious food and generous portions. The staff were excellent.
The minibar made a small noise during the night. It was barely noticeable.

tired room missed opportunity
the restaurant had fabulous house wines, i liked that.
sadly, the duplex room i got felt so tired. it needed some redecorating badly, i think there was a missed opportunity. the rooms really feel expensive for accommodation, it did not feel special at all.

Tranquil Chateau Getaway
gorgeous gardens helpful staff vineyard bicycle
I appreciate the gorgeous gardens around the chateau, they were perfectly manicured. We hired bicycles onsite and rode through the vineyards. It was a wonderful experience. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast in the room was a nice touch.
The decoration felt dated and could use some style.

Our duplex room was spacious and had outdoor seating with open views. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was very nice. It was a beautiful space for resting.

There is a pool, tennis courts, a wine shop with tasting experience, and beautiful gardens. I enjoyed the outdoor swimming-pool. I did some tranquil walks in the surrounding woodland.

a decent experience overall
manicured gardens pleasant staff convenient bicycle dated rooms run down grounds motel block
the gardens were well maintained. they reminded me of versailles. i hired a bicycle onsite (it was easy). i rode through the vineyards and nearby forest. the staff were pleasant. the room had everything i needed.
the rooms are in a motel style block in the grounds. they are clean and spacious. they are also very dated. the grounds are a bit run down and don't appear very cared for (i noticed this immediately).
