The property cultivates 68 hectares of AOC Bordeaux Supérieur rouge and 10 hectares of AOC Bordeaux Blanc Sec. Vinification Techniques
The vinification cellar at Château La France uses a specialized gravity system, eliminating the need for pumps and pipes. Wines are aged in French oak barrels for 12 months through regular tastings to ensure their development.
Reforestation and Sustainability
To address climate issues, the Mottet family implemented a voluntary reforestation program, planting over 130,000 trees across 84 hectares to capture significant CO2 emissions. Additionally, the estate participates in a hydropower project in the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development program. The commitment to sustainability is further reflected in the use of eco-friendly packaging.
