poor soundproofing stained carpet
I wasn't thrilled about the lack of soundproofing. I could hear conversations and movement from other rooms, a bit disruptive. the provided toiletries were minimal. I expected better quality or a wider selection. also, i found some stains on the carpet. It detracted from the overall impression of cleanliness.

The room was well-stocked with tea and coffee making facilities. I found home-made chocolate brownies included. The bed had a high tog duvet. The hosts provided extra blankets.
The loft room felt quite cramped.

detailed information great effort host home side street
the hosts provided detailed information about the hotel prior to my arrival. they also went to great effort to ensure i felt welcomed (which i certainly did).
the room was inside the host's home, i had to walk through their living room to access it. i also struggled to find parking, and eventually parked on a side street a few minutes away.
