Charming Cottage Stay
double windows comfy bed clear instructions
The room had double windows looking out onto the gardens, I thought that was such a nice touch! The bed was very comfy, I slept very well. Instructions prior to arrival were clear and helpful.
There was no TV in the room, and I would have liked one!

Free parking was available, which helped . The location included parks and walks only a short distance away. The accommodation also offers easy access to the train station and local bus routes, easy to get around.

I appreciated the historic nature of the house. The location offers easy access to central London (it was a short commute!). The bed proved comfortable. The responsive owners provided very helpful assistance.

historical hotel comfortable bed clear instruction smooth arrival
the cottage was like stepping back in time. the long history of the house was fascinating, a small booklet available. the bed in my room, a double room garden view, proved wonderfully comfortable, a crucial element for a restful visit. clear instructions from the hosts ensured a smooth arrival.
the dining area, while adequate, could have benefitted from MORE cups.

the location IS quiet, a short walk to parks and public transport. This made exploring the local area easy. i found it very convenient, and the immediate surroundings felt safe.

breakfast included Alpen, toast and jam, yogurts and fresh fruit. This simple spread suited my needs well. everything felt FRESH and well-prepared, a nice way to start the day.

historic hotel tasteful decoration large bed double windows dining area out of date oat milk open tin
the historic hotel was tastefully decorated. it reflected a sense of stepping back in time. our room included a large bed. double windows looked out on to the gardens.
the shared dining area did not have enough cups. there was no other crockery and no toaster. i found no milk in the fridge as promised, only out of date oat milk. there was also an open tin of dog food.
