I loved the hotel grounds and historical feel. the room was large. The bed and bathroom were amazing! the breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. i especially loved the fresh fruit. It was top notch!
The gym was clean. Still, a couple of the machines were out of order. it's a small detail but worth noting.

The hotel has beautiful grounds. It features courtyards and walking trails. Breakfast offered a fantastic selection (i ESPECIALLY liked the pastries). The location is just a couple miles outside town.
The service felt quite corporate. I didn't feel particularly valued. The barman refused to make a small modification to a drink (a simple cappuccino). The sauna wasn't warm enough. It was only about 70 degrees. The jacuzzi had a similar issue.

the hotel grounds were extensive and beautifully maintained. i enjoyed the generous and tasty breakfast buffet each morning. the pool area was amazing with comfortable loungers available, though i noticed some minor wear on a few cushions. it was easy to drive to the town from the hotel.
the jacuzzi wasn't as warm as i hoped, it could have been a bit hotter.

My beautiful double room convento was spacious and comfortable with modern amenities. the bathroom featured both a stand up shower and a tub, i found this very convenient. a balcony provided a great view of the gardens. I spent a lot of time out there.
