great stay with minor issues

reception gave a really nice greeting and parking was easy and close to the main entrance. the restaurant and bar were nice. i found the room comfortable. i will definitely stay again when in the area.

The windows were dirty. It made it hard to enjoy the view. a towel had makeup stains, and the bathroom tap leaked. the toilet also didn't flush properly.

i found the hotel easy to locate with free parking available it had good check in and check out times that suited my travel plans. my room had a good size and the bed provided real comfort . the breakfast was also a highlight with great service and tasty options i liked the lake with wildlife. i enjoyed watching a nesting swan, cygnets and a heron from my window it was a very unique experience to have.

i did find that upon arrival, i was informed about a new policy requiring a deposit even though my email stated nothing was due i had to resolve this and found it somewhat stressful at the start.

I loved the comfortable room. It was very quiet, great for restful nights. It was easy to find and I easily parked my car. I would return.

The deposit requirement was unexpected on arrival. This caused unnecessary stress. I feel this detail should be communicated earlier.

The room was super clean throughout the stay. The bed was massive and very comfy. Tea and coffee facilities were available. Breakfast included a pancake machine. This was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.
