Really good Stay
central location early check-in delicious breakfast
The location was central and easy to access. The owner offered early check-in because of room availability. I found both dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service was excellent. The room had a quiet atmosphere and the shower provided great water pressure.

fresh milk ample space full-length mirror quirky sitting room
The hotel offered fresh milk with tea and coffee. My room had plenty of space and storage. I found a full-length mirror, WHICH I really appreciated. I also appreciated the quirky sitting room areas available .
The bedroom doors were quite HEAVY and created considerable noise when closing.

a mixed experience at this hotel
inexperienced staff uncomfortable room
the room was large.
i found that breakfast and customer service both fell short. my room was excessively hot, and the windows were sealed shut. the lack of air conditioning. the fire alarm blared, and it took an unreasonable amount of time for the inexperienced staff to resolve the issue.

the room felt really spacious. the bed was very comfortable. i found the shower decent in a good sized bathroom. breakfast offered tasty options.
i noticed no biscuits to have with a cup of tea.

the location was perfect and very central. the food in the restaurant was superb (i especially enjoyed the breakfast). staff were friendly and efficient.
The bedroom doors were heavy. They made a lot of noise when closing.

clean bathroom cute staff special food romantic bedroom
The bedroom was so well presented with such beautiful decor. the cleanliness of both the bedroom and bathroom added to the feeling of romance. the staff were cute. Nothing was too much trouble for them. also, the food felt very special. We enjoyed every meal.
The wifi setup was slightly awkward. I had to complete a popup for access, but it vanished quickly.

the hotel enjoys a position right in the heart of the town. parking is available nearby at the station road car park. using the mipermit app for parking made everything very easy and reasonably priced.

The hotel offers a restaurant. The restaurant is light and airy. breakfast featured a delicious selection of foods. the hotel also has a snug area, which we both really loved. It felt intimate.
