I stayed in a superior double room. It was super clean! the bed had clean linen. i really appreciated the helpful, pleasant staff. i also benefited from free parking. There are about thirty free car parking spaces at the back of the hotel.
The hotel needs to provide directions to the car park. It's hard to find! you go through what looks like an m&s loading bay. Go through that, and it's at the bottom.

the hotel's main door leads directly to all of the shops. it is in the very center of town, so many opportunities are available. it is a five-minute walk to the station. all the bars and restaurants.

Breakfast was good. It was fresh and topped up regularly! there was the option to order off a menu, as well as a buffet. they had some tasty vegan sausages, too. So good.

The location is great, very central. I enjoyed chilling in the hotel bar. I had a good breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Some of the smells as you walk around the building are a little off-putting, and the decor is a bit tired.

The breakfast included a good range of food. There was cereal and fruit available. A full English breakfast was also an option. Staff ask if you'd like toast.

Reception let us leave the car in the car park. The receptionist was super helpful. Staff at the restaurant were lovely. The chef was accommodating with a modification.
