fine buildinghelpful staffvast spaceawful decorationlimited choicespecial meal
i found the building fine. there were fabulous paintings, decor and lights. the hotel offered a vast space and a living museum. staff were very helpful on arrival and throughout my stay.
the decoration of the rooms and furniture felt awful. it really let down the magnificent building and surroundings. the meals were ok but nothing special. breakfast had limited choice.

thick batterburnt taste
The food quality was not up to par. The batter on the fish was far too thick and the mushy peas tasted burnt. tea was served in plated pots. the pots lacked protection for fingers. they were too hot to handle.
