tender moments at lovely spot

The staff had such a warm welcome. It really set the tone. the breakfast offered a great selection of fruit. Cereals and cooked choices were available. our room had a large bed and plenty of space to unpack. That was a real treat. we also loved that there was fresh cake left in the room as a welcome gesture.
The sat nav signal was a little weak. It made finding the hotel slightly tricky at first

some issues

room mix-upunreplaced towels
I was disappointed by a few things . first, there was a mix-up with the rooms and i had to move after unpacking. that was annoying, and then they took the cake from the new room to replace the one i ate! also, the dirty towels i left for replacement were still there when i returned. the milk wasn't refilled either. It felt a bit overlooked.

Acceptable Stay With Some Issues

The location was quiet and rural. Breakfast service included an excellent cooked option that I pre-ordered.
I booked the hotel for three nights. I was given the wrong room after check-in and had to move. The staff said they will take the cake from the new room. This annoyed me more than the move.

The breakfast included a good selection of yoghurts. (I appreciated this, being a yogurt enthusiast).
I booked the room for two nights. After I checked in and unpacked, I was told I had the wrong room. I had to move because another guest was arriving. The dirty towels were not replaced after I left them on the floor. There was only a bath mat and one clean towel left.
