Location

Dalwhinnie Old School Hostel is situated in the Cairngorms National Park, directly opposite Dalwhinnie Train Station. The hostel serves as a convenient base for climbing numerous Munros in the area. It is also a key stop on the N7 cycle route and near mountain biking routes at Laggan Wolftrax.

The Hostel

The hostel operates within a renovated Victorian primary school, providing a unique accommodation experience. A large log burner enhances the atmosphere in the common areas, encouraging relaxation and social interaction. Guests can access drying facilities and a small shop offering essentials and local goods.

The options include a double room, a twin or double room, two 6-bed dorms, and a 10-bed dorm, with prices starting at £23 per person for shared dorms.
