i found the hosts to be down to earth. the room included a wee fridge to keep drinks chilled.. walking distance to a pub was an advantage. fort augustus was a short drive away.
my room lacked space for bags.

I found the breakfast amazing. it set me on my way for a day of exploring the area. hayley welcomed me. She was very friendly and explained everything clearly. i liked the spaciousness of the room.

cramped roomrigid breakfast
The room felt cramped. it was a DOUBLE room, BUT maneuvering around the bed proved difficult, especially with luggage. Breakfast service felt rigid. It was between 8:00 and 8:30. THIS reminded me of a very short window with varied schedules.

hayley provided a very inviting space from the start. the rooms are bright, tidy, and cozy, complete with lovely showers and a mini fridge for storing food. breakfast included a variety of choices, with satisfying portions suitable for a day of hiking.
the room was quite small for a twin, made space for suitcases somewhat limited. there was extra furniture .
