The room provided a direct view onto the river from the second floor. I had booked a king room without a balcony. Breakfast was superb, the staff was very helpful, and all courses were ordered through the waitress. The choice of hot breakfasts was extensive.
My room was perhaps smaller than I expected.

i returned for another stay but the restaurant has been changed. it is currently half the size it was. it ends up noisy. some diners were shoulder to shoulder.

The check-in was efficient and professional. Our room included a luxurious en-suite bathroom and a balcony. The hotel provided a quiet restful night's sleep. The bed was comfortable. Staff offered attentive service without intrusion.

amazing experience, lovely rooms!

the check-in process was very efficient. the room was spotlessly clean. i had fresh milk and water stocked daily. breakfast offered great choice, like cereals and cooked options. dinner each evening was excellent, and the service was prompt. there was plenty of wardrobe space.
the gym did'nt have enough equipment for my liking, however the hotel is in a good location.

the receptionists were professional and helpful, and the operations manager was very hands on. the staff were happy to pause for conversation and. all the team done a great job.

fried eggs were cooked perfectly every morning and sandwiches were perfect. evening meals were delicious and deserving of five stars. the breakfast offered good choices and the dinner each evening was excellent and well served by the staff.

breakfast was GREAT, it Included many choices.
the swimming pool was closed. i peeked through the windows and saw it was used for storage. i think covering the windows would look better or reopen it .
