solid stay with a few quirks

the front desk staff provided a complimentary upgrade to a room with a balcony i found that a really nice touch. the rooftop hot tub provided a warm and welcome relaxation spot. the view from the rooftop offered a really pleasant cityscape panorama. the water machine offered a convenient way to refill my water bottle throughout my stay.

the room smelled slightly like cigarettes initially though opening the balcony door quickly resolved that minor issue.

breakfast included standard fare like toast and fruit it was enough to start my day. the hotel is next door to stani cafe a good spot to have a rich breakfast. breakfast staff were helpful.

my double room included a comfortable bed and clean sheets it contributed to a restful sleep. the room came with air conditioning allowing temperature control. blackout curtains were installed. the room also had many hooks for the towels.

the hotel is near the omonia metro station it is very handy for getting around. hop on hop off buses have a stop at the square. a taxi stand offers convenient transport options.

The location was acceptable due to proximity to transit.

The neighborhood felt dangerous. Prostitutes, drug dealers, and homeless people was around the hotel day and night. The bathroom floor was also very slippery, a design flaw.
