charmed by great service

barbara at guest relations made us feel like family she spoke perfect english and showed us the hotel i received a ticino pass for free bus transport the bus stop was a short walk i really enjoyed the convenience
i found the breakfast options somewhat limited i expected more variety for a hotel of this class the hot section mainly had processed meats i missed fresh vegetables and omelettes included

The staff seemed helpful. The hotel offers a nice terrace near one restaurant. The restaurant has a broad assortment of dishes.
The carpets are old and smelly. The bathroom equipment appears outdated. The insulation in the room was poor. I hear toilets flush from rooms above.

The hotel's location was convenient. It was an easy walk to the lake, which I loved (I took so many pictures!). I found the team to be nice and helpful, especially when it came to organizing a small surprise. Their advice for local spots was invaluable. The room was clean and included thoughtful amenities.
I noticed the room's interior could use a bit of updating. While everything was functional, some of the decor felt a little aged. It would have been nice to see some modern touches in the design. This minor detail was the only thing I could fault.
