Excellent Lakeside Hotel

I appreciated the friendly staff who were always ready to help. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were excellent. The hotel's location across from the ferry station made it easy to take lake trips. I enjoyed the wine tasting, especially the wine and ham pairings.
The shower was a bit small.

frozen breadsmall showers
the breakfast service was chaotic. i saw waiters yelling at each other. one even put my coffee cup on top of my plate that still had eggs on it. i also found frozen bread at the buffet which was unacceptable. the showers are also terribly small making it difficult to move without bumping into the door.

The hotel offers a ferry stop directly opposite its entrance. This made lake exploration easy. A private boat also provided an alternative. The hotel food was excellent. I was happy to eat there every night. The staff were great too.
The room's soundproofing was not great. I could hear noise in the morning.

the hotel has a great wine tasting activity. the wines tasted were excellent and served with very nice ham. the staff were friendly and helpful. the hotel room was spacious and featured a nice lake view.
i booked a queen room with a balcony, BUT the balcony provided access to a public terrace. this setup lacked privacy, not ideal. MOST breakfast goods had run out when i arrived just before 9am. i found this disappointing considering the room cost.
