broken fanfluctuating water
I must say, the place showed its age a bit. The bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine struggling to take off, and the water temperature in the shower was a constant rollercoaster of hot and cold! I reported it, yet nobody came. for a supposed five-star hotel, one might expect they'd proactively address maintenance issues, instead of waiting to point them out. I mean, really?!

The staff was friendly! the salt water swimming pool was great. i enjoyed the excellent and clean pool and spa facilities. shuttle bus service to both town and porto was a nice bonus. It was free!
the hotel is a bit outside the city, and a 20-minute walk to the nearest train to porto is needed.

the breakfast had good variety and tasted very good. you could find anything you could possibly want! they had fresh pastries, eggs, bacon, fruit, and yogurt so it was easy to find something good.

The hotel has a beautiful and spacious garden with a clean swimming pool. there were many walking routes available along the coast which i enjoyed. i especially enjoyed the nearby beach. It was easy to access.

The team was very professional and cute. They were available all the time. my request for a little note for my darling's birthday was handled very well. we got a nice surprise attention in the room when we arrived!
