The staff greeted me with such warmth! They even carried my bags to my room. My room was completely new and was super clean, the breakfast room was very close. I had an early excursion scheduled before breakfast hours, but the staff arranged an early breakfast for me. The breakfast room sparkled, and the staff were amazingly accommodating with my early meal.
The towels were noticeably thin. I think thicker towels would further improve the experience.

The location was excellent. It was a short walk to the main areas, but very quiet. the room had all basic essentials and was cleverly designed for best use of space. it was a relief to be able to reach someone when i needed help.
general lack of cleanliness on arrival i found including dusty floors and areas around bed and table with lots of dust. floors were not cleaned throughout stay, and minimal cleaning was done.

the staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly harry. he was fantastic and a true asset to the hotel. it was easy to orientate yourself in the back streets after his directions.
