refurbished historic charm
large roomcomfortable roomhotel meal
i found the room very large and quite comfortable. the room had a window in the floor that revealed a tunnel the monks used. this was a nice touch. i also appreciated the hotel meals and breakfast.
The pub was very busy and i was left standing there.

Breakfast was excellent. All ingredients looked to be locally sourced and very flavoursome. the sausage was the only slight let down, but that was probably only because everything else was so good.

the location was perfect for visiting the theatre royal and the various tourist sites. it is very easy to walk into the center. the hotel is also opposite the abbey gardens, which are definitely worth a visit.

The room had a huge bed, plenty of free space, and it was like a suite. The free standing bath was awesome and added to the whole experience. Staff were cute, and Adam was front of house. Breakfast had delicious menu options prepared by the chef.

The bathroom had been finished to a high standard and was very clean. The facilities included a coffee machine, hair dryer and fridge, I found very useful. The decor looked stylish and cosy.
