Satisfying Visit
breakfast choice crispy bacon friendly staff
I found the breakfast service to be excellent. There was a good choice of items. I especially liked the English breakfast. The sausages had good taste and the bacon was crispy. The staff were accommodating to my needs.
I noticed some stairs have banisters that felt a bit wobbly.

The hotel had an excellent location near shops and facilities. I appreciated the short, ten minute distance to the railway station. It was very convenient to have many options nearby.

lovely rooms and great food!
nice towels rain shower comfy bed
breakfast was excellent, such a treat. the cleaning team works hard and provide nice towels. a rain shower was so refreshing. the bed was comfy. a hairdryer and iron was available, what more could you want.
the cold tap in the sink did not work i wish it did. also, the venue had a wedding that weekend. the music stopped promptly, but loud noise did spoil the evening a little.

the hotel offers parking at no cost to guests. it makes things much easier for those driving. the premises feature a lovely pub. i felt very welcomed and at home.

i tried the fish and chips for dinner at the pub. the food tasted great and was prepared well. i also ordered a duo roast beef and turkey. it came with roasted parsnips, yum!
