I found a warm welcome from lucy. the room bramble was clean. the breakfast was superb. Eggs benedict with asparagus was a treat.

the location felt great for walking around. the breakfast was excellent, it had lots of choice and was cooked to perfection.
the carpet was dirty around the dressing table. i saw a previous guest towel still hung behind the door, IT seemed forgotten.

minor issues affected my stay

noisy boilermouldy blind
The boiler next to my room was noisy. it woke me up around 5am each morning. the wardrobe in the room was tiny. It was insufficient for my luggage. i also noticed mould on the bathroom blind. breakfast was not good, specifically bacon was pre-cooked and hard.

excellent breakfastfriendly staffgreat location
I enjoyed the excellent breakfast with so many choices. the staff was very friendly, so i asked for a late check-out and they accommodated me. the location was great. I walked to the town center easily.
The street parking was tricky. It took a little while to find a space.

the room had a mountain view. the shower was wonderful (i really loved it). the bed linen was top quality.

the breakfast was freshly cooked. the menu included a very good choice of items. i also appreciated that the b&b was just a short walk into town.
i found the room to be quite small on this visit. the bed was very high, i even had to jump to get on it.
