the hotel is across the road from the train station. This made getting to my train EASY. the breakfast had a lovely selection.

THE room smelled strongly of smoke. Opening the windows did not eliminate the odor.

my room included individual artwork and modern decor. the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent, quite possibly the best i have experienced! breakfast featured a modern bean-to-cup coffee machine. there were options like eggs, bacon, and sausages alongside continental choices, fresh fruit, and pastries.

the hotel is undergoing some updates. this had no effect on my stay.

the staff was helpful. they went out of their way to ensure i felt welcome and assisted me with my needs. i especially appreciated the kindness shown by the receptionists during check-in.
