lack of interest
I encountered some issues . A request for a quiet room was not honored and i felt indifference from the reception staff. It reminded me of a step down from the beautiful hotel surroundings. i was also disappointed by the lack of client interest from the reception services.

The grounds are laid out well. There is space with shade. Access to the beach was easy. Food at La Cabana restaurant tasted yummy. I liked the vast breakfast options.

The breakfast buffet had a large selection. the pools were nice. plenty of sunbeds were available. Waking up early to reserve spots was unnecessary.
the tónica for the gin was charged separately at the bar, and there wasn't a prior warning.

weak air conditioningawkward shower
the air conditioning was almost nonexistent in my room , a serious issue . the room's design included a tub with only a half glass door , a strange setup , made showering awkward. these issues detracted from what could have been a better experience , given the hotel's other qualities. i found little support or quick resolution from the staff when i brought it up. the gym was mediocre too , frankly.
