riverside retreat, a solid stay

the staff were very friendly and efficient. breakfast included many pleasant options. kayaking on the river was available, which i enjoyed. the hotel pool offered nice views.

i found that the hotel did not change towels . room 256 felt humid, and the old ceiling fan did not provide sufficient comfort. there were no halaal food options.

The river view from the Beautiful Double or Twin Room River View was nice. The included breakfast provided good value. I did appreciate that canoes were available for free use by guests. There were boats that guests can use without any charge.

The restaurant felt a bit uninviting for evening meals.

i stayed in the cottage for three nights. the grounds have been extended and there is a herb garden to admire. the staff were friendly, and the hotel grounds are situated right on the river, nice.

THE noise factor in the hotel was a bit high. Especially when sleeping in room 6.

the breakfast had a great variety of options. i appreciated that the staff kept my plated breakfast in the cool facilities until i was ready to eat it later at 1 pm and then warmed it. the restaurant offered both indoor and outdoor seating , which i used.

the small heat panel in the room was insufficient.
