the staff was friendly and helpful i found it easy to locate the hotel near where i needed to be the room was well appointed and very clean i enjoyed the quality of the food i ate there.
the room faced the front and could use better blackout blinds a spotlight shined into the room until late.

the location is near axe it is about 10 meters to a spar shop newbury is about 20 minutes away making it convenient for takeaways the area suits explorations of calne and marlborough.

the bedroom was nicely decorated the bed was comfortable the bathroom was wonderful hot water was available in the walk-in shower it was a very nice feature after a long day.

i appreciated the coffee machine downstairs fresh milk was in the fridge a field behind the pub allowed the dog to run the fire in the pub created a cozy atmosphere.
i liked the building it looked picturesque. the staff and interior seemed cute to me. the tea and coffee facilities were of good quality.
i booked a table at the restaurant but ate outside due to a child. there was some noise in my room from fans and pumps. i also heard guests in the room above mine.

The thatched roof gave it a charming english look. It was picturesque! the breakfast tasted amazing and the setting was cozy. i loved the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome i received . It felt so homey.
The walls were a bit thin. I could faintly hear conversations next door, though it didn't bother me much.

Staff members were helpful and polite during my time there. They provided great service. they were always willing to assist with any questions or requests. I really enjoyed talking with them, their help was invaluable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful . I found them attentive. The room was recently renovated. It was quite adequate for an overnight stay.
The room faced the front of the building and lacked blackout blinds. A spotlight in the car park shined directly into the room until late. There was no heating in the bathroom. It felt quite cold.

The staff showed professionalism and were attentive to all my needs. I found both breakfast and dinner to be excellent. Free parking was available, a bonus. The location to explore the surrounding area proved convenient.
