mildew smell annoying mist
the staff was nice enough, i suppose. i mean, they did their jobs.
my room, the 'sovereign on food on ayurmana one a half-hour guided heritage walk from 7 am to 830 am', smelled vaguely of mildew. not exactly the 'exquisite heritage' vibe one expects. and the shower? more of a dribble than a proper wash. it was less a shower and more of an annoying mist.

dimly lit room slippery tiling
My stay wasn't quite the luxurious experience I anticipated. The room felt dimly lit (even during the day). The pool area tiling was quite slippery when wet. The staff seemed to lack some hospitality training. Simple requests sometimes took an unreasonably long time to fulfill.

underwhelming stay
loud music small pool
i stayed in a room by the pool and the music was constant it went straight into the room the pool area also lacked shade it was too small. too many tour groups came for meals this. i found it hard to relax with the noise and constant activity i expected more peace.

mixed experience at this hotel
outside noise impersonal service
the pool area was acceptable.
our room felt overpriced for what it offered. there was outside noise , made it difficult to relax completely. the staff seemed more focused on large tour groups than individual guests, leading to impersonal service. the filtered water in the room had an unpleasant smell.

colonial style kind staff breakfast variety broken shower
The architecture possesses a colonial style, very charming. The staff demonstrated kindness and availability . (They helped me with luggage.)
The breakfast buffet lacked really good variety. The shower knob was broken in my room. (I had to fix it myself!)
