Mixed Experience Due to Maintenance Issues

I specifically chose this hotel to enjoy the thermal baths after hours, but I was disappointed. The main bath was drained every night at 8 PM for cleaning. This eliminated the possibility of using it after a long day of hiking.

The gardens were beautiful. I used the hotel car service to return to Ponta Delgada, and I found it convenient. Breakfast quality impressed me. It included good service. The room had excellent air conditioning and adequate wardrobe SPACE. It ensured a comfortable stay.
I noticed the bar near the rooms staying open late, which caused SOME noise.

The gardens surrounding the hotel offer access to thermal pools. These springs are open 24 hours for hotel guests. I could walk to the botanical garden directly from the hotel. IT was genuinely amazing.

The breakfast had excellent quality, presentation, and service. The restaurant offers a semicircular window overlooking the gardens. I enjoyed bar service. This service included a range of food and snacks.

The staff throughout the hotel were always attentive and helpful. I contacted the concierge before arrival. She was very helpful and always a delight. She assisted me with various requests.

The room included refreshed water and coffee pods daily. My room and bathroom were of a good size. The dressing gown was also refreshed daily for those using the indoor pool, i appreciate THAT.

the breakfast was very fresh and generous. it was also beautifully presented! our room was spacious and peaceful, also the hotel's decor blends classic charm with modern comfort. we accessed the fine botanical gardens and thermal pool easily, especially in the evening. the indoor pool and sauna were a lovely bonus.
I had a very small room with a view of the parking lot. It wasn't ideal! it is not good customer experience for such an expensive hotel to not offer a discount.
