a true gem!
high ceilingsgood treateating situation
i ADORED the high ceilings and tall sash windows. the view over the countryside was beautiful, and the hospitality of the owners made it so special! afternoon tea on arrival with scones was a good treat. A freshly cooked breakfast every morning was such a bonus, i felt completely spoiled!
the eating situation was a bit tricky. i couldn't order a takeaway to the room, and there were no nearby footpaths for dining options. it would be great to have some evening meal options without cars.

the arrival included afternoon tea , a good surprise i did not expect. breakfast each morning featured fresh , locally-sourced ingredients , prepared perfectly. the hosts were thoughtful , offering assistance and ensuring every need was met. the attention to detail throughout the house was amazing , from the decor to the high ceilings.
the only minor thing was the limited availability of nearby dining options , which required a bit of planning.

I found the hosts quite unwelcoming. i waited a really long time for my room to be ready. I arrived in the afternoon. there were no facilities for eating. i felt quite stuck and hungry.
