The room size felt cramped. There was no duvet, only a blanket with a sheet, THAT'S unacceptable. The cups in the room were also not clean, a major put-off. IT'S basic hygiene.

the village pub was lovely. it had accommodation in a separate block, so it was very quiet. hosts were friendly. the cooked breakfast was delicious. i liked the scenic footpath near the hotel.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. the room had a fridge and fresh milk was provided, a very nice touch. the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

i noticed the cups in the room weren't perfectly clean.
