heritage charm and attentive service
beautiful pool hotel location supportive staff
The room, a chamber of prince, faced a beautiful pool. i enjoyed the convenience of visiting the taj mahal and agra fort. The hotel's location made these trips quick. the staff were supportive. They added to the royal feel of the hotel.
i found the noise from the nearby road somewhat disturbing. it's a shame that such a nice hotel experiences this.

historic charm
hotel history attentive staff large garden
the hotel preserves its history very well. attentive staff made check-in comfortable and easy for me. there is a large garden. the pool includes lounge chairs for relaxation.
the breakfast buffet was average, there was not a lot of variation. the croissants and omelette station were basic. it lacked the quality i expect from a hotel of this level.

christmas eve dinner was well arranged with a good food selection. the breakfast choice offered a wide variety of options to choose from. live indian dance and live background music accompanied the meals.

polite supervisor car washing
The Supervisor from the housekeeping department, Deepak Upadhyay, was polite. Sneha Sharma, an Assistant Manager, assisted me with the check-in process. I enjoyed the car washing service at the hotel.
The hotel dining area lacked air conditioning .

huge room large bath lovely service car arrangement cif smell institutional feel
The room was HUGE, and the bathroom had an absurdly large bath. The service in the restaurant was lovely. One of the waiters, Pradeep, remembered each of our hot drink orders from the previous day, AMAZING!!!
There was a mix up over car arrangements before arrival. The sheets had a slight smell of cif. The hotel had a slightly institutional feel initially.

mixed feelings about this place
visible mold faulty air conditioning
The breakfast selection was acceptable. It had the usual indian options.
My chamber of prince room felt quite neglected. There was visible mold in the bathroom. the air conditioning barely worked. It struggled to cool the room even on the highest setting. i reported this issue, but it was not resolved .
