i stayed two nights and found the superior double room very nice and neat. breakfast was tasty each morning, especially the butcher sausages. when my eggs benedict proved underdone, it was remade quickly with excellent service. the staff accommodated me well throughout my stay.

I found the hotel and pub very convenient since it is across the road from the train station. This made arriving by train VERY easy. The food in the pub downstairs was AMAZING!!! There were also little shops around for any supplies I needed.
The windows in my room were hard to open. one light switch needed fixing. This was a minor inconvenience, though.
