i must say, the roadworks outside did ruin my sleep. i mean, who puts single glazed windows in a hotel near roadworks? also, the curtains let in light. it's like they don't want you to sleep. what even

fantastic stay!
clean room tasty breakfast excellent service
i stayed two nights and found the superior double room very very comfy and tidy. breakfast was tasty each morning, especially the butcher sausages. when my eggs benedict proved underdone, it was remade quickly with excellent service. the staff accommodated me well throughout my stay.

easy access convenient location ample shops faulty switch hard windows
I found the hotel and pub very convenient since it is across the road from the train station. This made arriving by train VERY easy. The food in the pub downstairs was AMAZING!!! There were also little shops around for any supplies I needed.
The windows in my room were hard to open. one light switch needed fixing. This was a minor inconvenience, though.
