a december delight, warm welcomes and delicious food

This family-run hotel has become an annual tradition for me. I particularly love visiting in december when decorations adorn every corner. evenings are spent by the open fire with a cocktail before dinner. the superior room i stayed in had comfortable appointments, especially the very comfortable bed.

the STAFF, were lovely there. breakfast was also super.
room 19 seemed like a sauna. a small fan didn't cut it. my husband ended up sleeping on the FLOOR. also, a glass shelf in the bathroom decided to take a dive during the night. it was QUITE the experience.

I enjoyed the excellent service (particularly the attentive staff). The rooms were warm and comfortable with Christmas decorations. It was helpful that Teresa and her team booked our party and found suitable rooms.

The location is perfectly quiet, and all you hear are the birds outside, because there is no traffic. The hotel is located in a typical green setting, while the gardens overlook the surrounding area, which I found very nice.

i found the location peaceful with rolling hills around. the atmosphere felt relaxing and cute. the staff were friendly and polite. the rooms included a king size bed, superb wifi, and a wet room bathroom. there were plenty of usb and plug sockets.
Room 19 was stifling. A small fan was not very effective. i found it very uncomfortable as it was too hot. there was no fridge in the room. there was only one bottle of complimentary water for two people.
