Solid Stay at Village Center Lodging
bicycle storagegood showerlively bar
I found ample space to store my bicycle at the rear of the hotel. The room offered a good shower , which was much appreciated after cycling. The bar area was lively with both local residents and travelers from Tyneside.

The staff provided a snack breakfast for my driver , which I considered thoughtful. The team was helpful , cheerful, and showed great hospitality . This level of attentiveness was beneficial.

Mixed feelings about this hotel
suitable locationheating problemrude staff
The location suited my needs for exploring the area.
The heating did NOT work during the night. Staff exhibited rudeness concerning complaints. Breakfast was left hanging on the bedroom door. I consider it a poor service.
the staff were friendly and very helpful. my room was nice. breakfast was good and a continental style. i really like the bar. it was lively and popular.
the en-suite was small. it was not finished to a high standard. i noticed some peeling paper. also, the basin was in the bedroom. i didn't like this arrangement.
