faulty radiator extra blanket
the breakfast was plentiful and tasty, it set me up well for the day.
The room was quite cold, the radiator didn't seem to be working properly. i had to ask for an extra blanket which wasn't ideal. I didn't get a very good nights sleep

intimate atmosphere organized breakfast considerate hostess
the house exudes an intimate atmosphere, i felt welcomed. the breakfast schedule was thoughtfully organized and suited my needs perfectly. victoria, the hostess, showed kindness and consideration, i found it heartwarming.
The absence of immediate staff upon arrival caused a slight delay. i had to wait briefly for assistance with check-in. That was somewhat inconvenient.

small room weak wi-fi
The room felt quite small. I could barely open my suitcase. also, the wi-fi signal was rather weak in my room, i struggled to browse the internet at times. it was a bit disappointing. it wasn't strong enough to stream anything, though, a letdown after a long day.

the ensuite family room was spacious. it was clean and included a generous supply of tea, coffee, and chocolates. i could securely store my bike in a sheltered outdoor lean-to.
the room was warm. the only window faced the main road. the bed was very firm.
