the room was super clean and cozy. a fully stocked tray included teas, coffees, and biscuits. (it was replenished each day). secure parking was available.
i would have enjoyed having breakfast included in the price. i also wished for conservatory room access. the absence of these amenities affected the overall experience.

the room was very comfy and tidy. toiletries were available, and i found that useful. the location seemed good for getting into town. the security system for entering and exiting the house worked well.
I would have liked breakfast included. That seemed a missed opportunity. use of the conservatory room also would have enhanced the experience. the small plastic basket was missing. I did not take it.

breakfast included great choices and excellent ingredients. it was so well presented. i had easy car parking, which helps! the room got lovely little treats and i just felt so welcome, i seemed like family!
i found a slightly dusty corner near the window, but it was really minor.

the host greeted me warmly upon arrival, nothing was too much trouble. he were great too ensure i got everything i needed to.

the room was spacious, super clean, and had everything i needed, i had a very comfortable bed and a great shower, a fan was on in the room to help with the heat, i had great water pressure too.

the cooked breakfast option was fantastic, a lot of choice and nicely presented, ingredients tasted super fresh. it tasted delicious and were so enjoyable, especially with the excellent service i had.

the room was clean and tidy, acceptable.
I was frustrated because the tv remote didn't work. i tried new batteries, it still failed. also, the bedside lamp flickered constantly. It made reading impossible (it gave me a headache).

The room had modern fittings and a TV. A lovely shower was also available (it was great). Free WIFI was provided. Breakfast featured personal interaction and friendliness.
The proprietor called me two hours after checkout. She asked about a missing small plastic basket from the room. I felt virtually accused of stealing a cheap plastic item. This was appalling after spending money on the stay.

the host made sure i had everything i needed. it. i had goodies in the room and bathroom. the breakfast was cooked and i had cheerful conversation.
the low pressure and constant slowing down on pressure of the shower meant i could not have an invigorating shower. it was not quite hot enough either. it was too weak.

the hotel is a short walk into town. it is a five minute drive from my stepson's house. waitrose is just around the corner. parking is ample.
