terrible ceramic tiles poor room layout
The breakfast spread met my expectations. It had good variety.
The room looked old. The ceramic tiles was terrible. The room layout was poor. It was like a downgrade for the price. One night, at 11 PM, hotel staff knocked loudly because they thought I was playing music loudly. Actually, my children and I were already asleep. It was Russians on the top floor, but sound traveled easily.

Wonderful stay!
spacious room friendly staff
the room was spacious and always clean. the staff were fabulous, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the location is unbeatable with just metres from the lovely ocean. i witnessed a cultural show after dinner which was quite good and added a beautiful touch to the evening.
the all inclusive is nice but it doesn't include everything. i would expect that included with the price of the all inclusive and the little cost to provide. the bedrooms are also seriously noisy. the air con mixed with the buses on the road and other rooms opening and closing make for not the best night sleep.

the hotel and its outside area are well maintained. guards are present to. sun loungers were always available and there were at least two beach accesses.

lots of variety and so fresh and delicious. we were taken very good care of by the lovely staff, especially thilakasiri sanjeewa and gamini. breakfast was great. wide range buffet was available.

beach access breakfast buffet attentive attendant non-working lift old-style key slow wifi
the location was great directly on the beach it made access easy i could see turtles just steps from the hotel the breakfast buffet had good variety there was a lot of food to choose from. the room attendant rasun kept my room super clean he was very attentive to my needs.
the lift was not working that was a minor inconvenience my key was old style it was only one key between two people. the wifi was slow it was frustrating when i tried to work.

a fairly standard stay
direct access breakfast buffet noisy dehumidifier limited help
i enjoyed the direct access to the reef. seeing turtles was definitely a highlight. the breakfast buffet also had a good variety of options and the staff paid good attention to detail.
The rooms felt quite dated. the portable dehumidifier was very noisy. It was hard to ignore. i also noticed that finding sun lounger mats and towels near the pool was difficult. there didn't seem to be anyone available to help.
